Inspired by the {common} belief that winter weddings have to be accompanied by dark, rich colours like navy, burgundy, and forest greens, this editorial was meant to showcase how elegant, soft and romantic a winter wedding can be despite the cold, harsh temperatures.
Set on the prestigious grounds of Langdon Hall, this editorial piece was conceptualized and executed by Lauren McLean Planning to highlight the elegant, softer side of winter weddings. Yildiz K Photography beautifully captured the spirit of the shoot and all of the creative details.

Allyssa Helm Beauty Co. enhanced the naturally gorgeous features of the bride with soft pink hues and romantic curls, while she displayed a whimsical bridal gown with intricate lacework provided by Valentina’s Bridal & Couture. The groom wore a dusty rose suit from RW&CO that provided a welcome pop of colour and warmth against the crisp, snowy backdrop.
Wedding Details make all the difference
Mixed textures were integrated into the tablescape by utilizing velvet dining chairs, disheveled linen napkins, and lustrous gold flatware. Selah Paper designed custom menus and a classic stationery suite that reflected the refined beauty of this editorial. Poetic harmony for this shoot was achieved with the additions of delicate rose blooms and greenery installations from Billie Flower Co. and the creative, opulent cake designed by Cakelaine.
