The inspiration behind this natural wedding style shoot set inside the Château Dufresne was a regal masquerade proposal. “I wanted to portray something simple that still had a twinkle of luxury,” said Alicia Naraine-Cohen, founder and creative director of Operetta Designs. “For years, my husband’s family has tried to introduce me to the great outdoors, so for this shoot, I wanted to combine their love of nature with my love of all things vintage to create this dreamy setting.” By channeling her Guyanese background, Naraine-Cohen was able to incorporate a lively jewel-toned colour palette with hints of nature and glam.
