Olya and Vitaliy’s love story began when they met at a friend’s birthday party. Olya was 16 and Vitalik was 18. It was not until five years later they connected and started as friends, which led to talking every day and seeing each other often.
After some time, they realized how much they had in common and started dating. During their dating years, one of their passions has been traveling. They have a travel bucket list that they look forward to completing together. Bahamas, Mexico, the USA, and exploring their home in Canada are some places they have visited numerous times together.
After talking about their childhood memories one day, Olya brought up an elementary school picture that the school did only once in the last few decades. Vitaliy looked at it and asked where she had found his picture. As it turned out, that same year, Vitaliy was in Canada attending the same school, in the same picture. He was in grade 4, and she was in grade 2. Funny how such coincidences occur.
This May, Vitaliy organized a trip with Olya to East Coast Canada. As they both share a love of adventure, they went hiking at the Skyline Trail on Cape Breton Island, where Vitaliy proposed at sunset. It was a sight to see and a moment to remember. Six years later, they are best friends, true loves, and badass partners in life. They were finally ready to make it official!
Now for the engagement shoot, they wanted something special, something curated and very fashionable. The shoot was inspired by classic retro fashion. Margarita worked with the Olya & Vitalik to style the shoot in a way that reminded them of the classic love stories in black and white retro films but with a modern twist.
