VENDOR LOVE

A courthouse wedding might not be that fairytale wedding you imaged, but it can be an intimate and romantic one. Here’re some tips for those brides who are planning to have a civil wedding.

What is a civil wedding

A civil ceremony is a legally binding ceremony, which means you won’t have two ceremonies. A civil ceremony can be held anywhere, on the beach, in a venue, or even in a garden. So it’s up to you where you want to say your vows.

There are no special requirements as to where a civil wedding can take place.  This flexibility allows the wedding party to plan the ceremony in a park, venue, backyard, or any area that you deem special. Here are some great tips on planning a wedding.

Here are some steps that you need to do

  1. Choose a City Hall
  2. Apply for the Marriage License
  3. Choose your wedding date.
  4. Hire a photographer to capture the special moment
  5. Invite Your Closest Family Members or Friends to Witness Your wedding
  6. Find the perfect wedding dress. Just cause it’s civil doesn’t mean you can’t have the wow factor.
  7. Find a florist who will create the perfect bridal bouquet for you and your wedding party.
  8. Plan a wedding reception right after the ceremony
