Rojia and Pouyan’s Stunning Persian Wedding at The Manor
The setting for Rojia and Pouyan’s wedding ceremony was the lush greens of The Manor Carrying Place Golf & Country Club in Toronto. Performed in front of a gorgeous gazebo overlooking a serene pond, the ceremony featured a traditional Persian “Sofreh Aghd” floor spread, intricately designed on a riser with mirrors. The bride and groom sat on armchairs facing the guests, with the “Sofreh Aghd” showcasing decorated fruits, pastries, candied nuts, candelabras, and more.
Elegant Reception with Persian Chic Décor
A theme of white, chic, contemporary accents was used for the overall décor. In the reception area, the couple sat elevated on a raised platform behind a Lucite sweetheart-shaped table, beneath a crystal chandelier, decorated with white roses. Close family and friends gathered at two long communal tables topped with sequined linen, low floral centerpieces, and candles in crystal holders. These tables framed a white custom-made dance floor. Other guests enjoyed tables adorned with white candelabras and roses, alongside a cozy lounge area with white couches and tables. This Persian Sofreh wedding was featured in the June 2015 issue of Toronto’s Elegant Wedding Magazine.
