When Jack and Jyl first met in 2000, the two knew there was a magic between them that could not be denied. On June 21, 2015, the first day of summer and the longest day of the year, Jack and Jyl became Mr. and Mrs. The bride and groom chose the highly-esteemed The Ritz-Carlton Montreal as their wedding location knowing the venue would offer everything with no need to leave the premises with Omega Photography & Video as their photographer.
They walked down the aisle through the beautiful Palm Court and into the Oval Room to stand under a magnificent crystal chandelier. The couple then invited their guests to follow them outside into the garden where the ceremony would be held. Cocktails and canapés were served on the second floor mezzanine while the Oval Room was being transformed for the reception.
The venue and bride’s dress (by Inbal Dror from White Toronto) were used as inspiration in deciding on the wedding décor and colour scheme. From the personalized medallion to the damask table linens and glass candelabras, the French garden inspired flowers and silver candlesticks, the white embroidered napkins and silver foil menus, the laser cut table numbers and white wood frame chairs, all worked together to ensure an effortless elegance in all the details.
