Following a vieux chateau wedding theme, Colin and Courtney’s wedding was all about celebrating the history of marriage in their families. From the wedding rings Courtney placed in a delicate lace pouch fastened to her bouquet — belonging to both the bride and groom’s mothers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers, representing over 400 years of marriage — to the black and white photographs of the family at the entrance hall to Le Windsor Ballrooms, the event perfectly represented the couple’s joy for life and each other.
Courtney, a digital marketing coordinator, and Colin, a corporate lawyer, incorporated their love of vintage books into their chateau wedding decor by accompanying them with gorgeous floral centrepieces. The banquet tables were surrounded by a mix of old-world chairs provided by Tenue de Soirée to give guests a feeling of imperfect perfection. Every detail brought to mind the feeling of being in a Vieux Chateau. Thanks to an electrifying live band, an epic sweet table and a late-night tacos bar, guests danced until the wee hours.
