From the moment we started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted it to feel like us—fun, colorful, and full of love. We’re both pretty adventurous—Collin hiked Kilimanjaro and I’d jump out of a plane any day! I (Avery) knew pretty early on that Collin was the one. So yes, the proposal was on my radar… but he still managed to completely surprise me. We were in Amsterdam, on a friend’s boat in the canals, with cheese, wine, and the most perfect day. Then Collin asked me to stand up—confetti started falling, a photographer friend captured the moment from a bridge above, and he got down on one knee. I said yes… and then made him repeat everything later because I completely blacked out from excitement!
