Nicky worked closely with Michelle from Fab Fête Event Planning Boutique to ensure that her cherry blossom wedding was vibrant, colourful and imaginative. Table settings, flowers and decor reflected her and Arik’s personalities seamlessly and were transformed into a perfect indoor interpretation of an autumn celebration. Nicky made her way down an aisle lined with tall pink and white cherry blossoms to say “I do” to Arik. A grand chuppah—also covered in cherry blossoms—highlighted the ceremony and was beautifully accompanied by candles and purple lighting to set the mood. As dedicated fans of the HBO hit series Game of Thrones, Nicky and Arik decided to have the violinist and keyboardist play an adapted instrumental version of the show’s theme song prior to the ceremony. Sparklers, incredible music and a wild hora dance were how Nicky and Arik made their reception a bouncing, memorable one. Guests danced the night away, took fun in a photo booth and inserted Polaroid photos into the couple’s monogrammed guestbook to commemorate the night.
