The overall approach was to craft a beautiful, sleek and glamorous experience for all senses, which was achieved thanks to a balanced color palette, mirror reflections, floral scents, silk textures, sparkly jewelry, shimmery bridal dresses and shoes, delicious wedding cake, and flutes of pink bubbles, as well as saxophone ballads.
Daphne Mercier Event planner chose unique warm colours to compliment the decor, adding touches of gold, reflection, and transparency to elevate the design. The furniture pieces provided by Options Great Hire tied everything together.
Playing with volumes, reflections, transparency, and having different heights on the dining table without impacting guests’ conversations was important to me. Mary Jane Vaughan’s floral design in conjunction with the crystal candelabras added the right dose of drama and grandeur without compromising on logistics and guests’ experience. Orchids and peonies are often couples’ favourites, however.
HER LOOKS: For the bride, Daphne created three Berta looks thanks to dresses provided by The Wedding Club, which Gintare the hairstylist, and Ausra the makeup artist, sublimed with their respective skillful artistry.
HIS LOOKS: For the groom, two defining and sleek looks are provided by Moss Bros with charcoal and a navy suit with matching bow ties. All in simplicity and class, avoiding black, too dark for a hot summer celebration.
