Joanna & Andre were married September 4, 2011

Joanna and Andre have a special bond that needed a unique touch. Not ones to follow the traditional path, they asked the designers at Jackie O to come up with a celebration that reflected both their personalities and tastes. The ballroom of the Park Hyatt Regency was the setting for the contemporary and dramatic wedding ceremony and reception.  A vibrantly coloured chuppah was centered in the room and the guests gathered around the couple as they vowed their love to each other.  With a smash and a Mazel Tov, the celebration began.

The room had a modern look and feel with a sense of whimsy introduced by black feather centerpieces on some tables and a sense of urban chic with the deconstructed style on others.  Punchy green dianthus was mixed with vibrant purple orchids and aubergine calla lilies creating a dramatic colour scheme. The design team accented this with pops of pink mokara orchids for contrast.  Much like the couple themselves, Joanna and Andre’s wedding brought fun together with chic.
